The Dallas Cowboys concluded their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, marking the end of practices that began on July 29. The team is set to face the New Orleans Saints in their final preseason game before finalizing their 53-man roster for the regular season.
CeeDee Lamb, the standout wide receiver, made a significant impact during the final practice, connecting with quarterback Dak Prescott for multiple touchdowns. Lamb showcased his talent with a remarkable one-handed catch in the end zone, impressing fans and coaches alike. His performance was a highlight in an otherwise low-key preseason for the starters.
On the other hand, cornerback Cobie Durant faced challenges during the practice, allowing two touchdowns to Lamb and Pittsburgh Steelers receiver George Pickens. Despite this, Durant has solidified his position as a starting cornerback opposite DaRon Bland, having had a strong training camp overall.
Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also stood out, making an early impact during the team period. He demonstrated his aggressiveness by breaking through the offensive line on a blitz, forcing Prescott to throw the ball away. Barham's performance indicates he is building on his previous showings in the preseason.
