Fort Worth expects North Main Street improvements between Northeast 14th and Northeast 24th streets to finish by the end of October, according to the city’s October project update.

A separate portion of the same project, running from the Meacham International Airport area to Northeast Loop 820, remains delayed because it conflicts with an airport project already underway. The update does not give a new start date for that segment.

The $2.8 million project in Council District 2 replaces damaged concrete pavement and repairs damaged sidewalks and driveways. The two stretches are at different stages, so the October target applies to the Northeast 14th–Northeast 24th portion rather than the entire project.

The project page separately lists November 2026 as its overall completion date. Residents can check that page for later schedule updates or contact project manager Tariqul Islam at 817-392-2486.
