Roberts sets the pace

222 rushing yards from Jamal Roberts powered Missouri to a 27-6 victory over visiting Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. Roberts carried 34 times and scored twice, including a 54-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that completed Missouri's scoring.

Missouri also received a touchdown from Cayden Lee, who caught seven passes for 94 yards. Austin Simmons completed 14 of 28 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Tigers. Lee's touchdown came on a 32-yard pass from Simmons in the second period, giving Missouri its first lead.

Missouri takes control

Texas A&M opened the scoring when David Olano made a 53-yard field goal in the first period for a 3-0 lead. Missouri answered with Lee's touchdown and a 50-yard field goal by Blake Craig, taking a 10-3 advantage into halftime.

Craig added a 51-yard field goal in the third period, and Roberts followed with a 2-yard touchdown run. Missouri led 20-3 after three periods. Olano's 27-yard field goal was Texas A&M's only score of the fourth period before Roberts' 54-yard touchdown run and Craig's extra point produced the final margin.

Quarter-by-quarter

Texas A&M led 3-0 after the first period, while Missouri scored 10 points in the second period to move ahead 10-3. The Tigers added 10 more points in the third period, and both teams scored seven points in the fourth period. The quarter scores were Texas A&M 3-0-0-3 and Missouri 0-10-10-7.

Passing and records

Marcel Reed completed 19 of 39 passes for 187 yards and threw two interceptions for Texas A&M. KJ Edwards carried six times for 20 yards, and TK Norman made three receptions for 55 yards for the Aggies.

Missouri moved to 5-1 after the game, while Texas A&M's record became 3-3.
