In 2023-24, he participated in 13 games with Indiana, achieving a completion rate of 61.2% and recording six touchdowns alongside six interceptions. After a brief stint at Tennessee in 2022, he transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2025, where he completed 63.5% of his passes for 2,151 yards, ten touchdowns, and eight interceptions, contributing to UCF's 5-7 season.
Jackson's high school career at Center Grove High School was notable, as he threw for 4,813 yards and 47 touchdowns from 2018 to 2021, leading his team to a Class 6A championship. He is also the brother of Trayce Jackson-Davis, a former Indiana Mr. Basketball and current player for the Toronto Raptors.
