Fort Worth, Texas — A season-long turnaround for the Dallas Wings reached its brightest spotlight Thursday when guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepard were named starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.
Bueckers, in her second year after being drafted No. 1 overall, led the entire league in fan voting with 1,045,051 ballots — her second straight All-Star start. Shepard earned her first career selection in year six, providing interior scoring and rebounding that has helped fuel the Wings' climb up the standings.
The Wings' backcourt depth also drew national notice: rookie Azzi Fudd placed fourth among guards in fan voting, reflecting the broader excitement around a roster that underperformed last season but has emerged as one of the league's most-watched stories.
