Fort Worth ISD's 2026 accountability report describes a district operating at both ends of the state's rating scale at once.
Three campuses scored 97: the Young Women's Leadership Academy, the Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences and Marine Creek Collegiate High School. Seven campuses received an F, including Woodway Elementary at 52 and both Carter Park Elementary and Morningside Middle School at 54.
The district's overall rating from the Texas Education Agency is a C with a score of 77.
The distribution
Of 120 rated campuses, 17 earned an A, 35 a B, 43 a C, 18 a D and seven an F.
That means roughly one campus in five is rated D or F, the highest such share among districts in our coverage area, while 52 campuses are rated A or B.
The domains
Fort Worth scored 78 in school progress and 77 in closing the gaps, both C ratings.
