Rangers Take the Win

The Texas Rangers defeated the Los Angeles Angels 5-3 on Sunday, August 23, at Globe Life Field in Arlington. The victory moved the Rangers' record to 65-66, while the Angels fell to 52-79. Attendance for the contest was 31,593.

The Rangers took a 3-0 lead in the second inning. Luis García Durán homered to left center for the first run. Next, Matt Freeman tripled to center, allowing O'Hoppe to score.
