Texas Wesleyan women rally for draw; men shut out Oklahoma City

Texas Wesleyan’s women scored an 81st-minute equalizer to earn a 2–2 soccer draw with Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, at Martin Field in Fort Worth. The Rams’ men followed with a 1–0 win in the home doubleheader.

After a scoreless first half, the women went ahead before Oklahoma City answered with two goals. Texas Wesleyan tied the match at 80:45, according to the university’s women’s recap. The Rams finished with 12 saves while being outshot 18–4.

The draw left the Texas Wesleyan women at 3–6–3 overall and 0–2–2 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

In the men’s match, a first-half penalty supplied the only goal. Texas Wesleyan led shots on goal 6–3 and made three saves to complete the shutout, improving to 4–5–4 overall and 2–2–0 in conference play.

Both teams next host Central Christian College of Kansas on Saturday, Oct. 10. The women’s match starts at 1 p.m., followed by the men at 3:30 p.m. All times are Central.
