The Houston Texans announced the signing of tight end Louis Hansen on Sunday, marking his return to the team. This addition does not require any corresponding roster move.
Hansen previously joined the Texans in June but was waived in late July. He went undrafted in April after completing his college career, which included two years at Michigan and three years at Connecticut. Over 40 games in college, Hansen recorded 46 receptions for 463 yards and four touchdowns.
With Hansen's signing, the Texans' tight end roster now includes Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Further details regarding Hansen's role with the team have not yet been provided.
