Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Noah Brown has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, marking a new chapter in his NFL career. The Raiders announced the addition on Sunday, indicating they have added a physical and experienced target to their offensive lineup. To accommodate Brown, the team released defensive tackle Benito Jones from the roster.
Brown joins the Raiders after spending the last two seasons with the Washington Commanders, where injuries sidelined him for 19 games. Despite these setbacks, he showcased his potential when healthy, recording 40 receptions for 536 yards and one touchdown during his time in Washington. His average of 13.4 yards per catch highlights his capability to contribute beyond just blocking and possession plays.
Drafted by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Brown developed into a reliable player over his six-year tenure in Dallas. He was known for his physical blocking and versatility across multiple receiver positions, although he was never the primary target.
His most productive season with the Cowboys came in 2022, where he caught 43 passes for 555 yards and three touchdowns, serving as a secondary option to Dak Prescott behind CeeDee Lamb.
After leaving Dallas, Brown signed with the Houston Texans, where he recorded 33 receptions for 567 yards and two touchdowns in his single season there, averaging an impressive 17.2 yards per reception.
