Late Surge Secures Win
The Houston Astros overcame a four-run deficit by scoring four times in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat the Los Angeles Angels 6-4 on Tuesday. The victory improved Houston’s record to 53-55, while the Angels fell to 42-65.
The Angels established an early lead, capitalizing on opportunities against Astros starter Cristian Javier. In the first inning, Zach Neto and Mike Trout scored on consecutive plays, including a sacrifice fly by Kahlil Watson and a single by Grissom.
