A Decisive Second Half
Camden Brown recorded 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns, providing the offensive spark Dallas needed to secure a 17-7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. The win improves the Cowboys' record to 1-0, while Seattle drops to 0-1 following their loss at Lumen Field on Sunday.
The game began with Seattle controlling the early pace. In the first quarter, Drew Lock connected with Montorie Foster Jr. on a five-yard pass, completed by Jason Myers' kick, giving the home team a 7-0 lead. The Cowboys remained scoreless until the second period when Brandon Aubrey drilled a 29-yard field goal to narrow the gap to 7-3.
Dallas Takes Control
Dallas flipped the momentum in the second quarter. Sam Howell found Brown on a 39-yard touchdown pass, and Aubrey’s extra point put the Cowboys ahead 10-7 at halftime. The offensive efficiency continued into the third quarter as Joe Milton III threw a two-yard touchdown pass to Brown. With the successful kick from Aubrey, Dallas extended their lead to 17-7.
Seattle was unable to mount any further scoring drives after the opening period. Lock finished with 40 passing yards on 9-of-13 passing, including one touchdown. Foster Jr. led the Seahawks' receiving corps with five catches for 36 yards and a score. On the ground, George Holani provided some movement with 12 carries for 42 yards.
