SMU will have four ACC home games in 2027, facing Clemson, NC State, Georgia Tech and Stanford. The Mustangs will begin the season against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium.
The conference road schedule includes trips to Cal, Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Duke. It will be SMU's second season using the ACC's current format, which calls for nine league games and at least 10 games against Power Four opponents. The ACC said dates and the complete 2027 schedule are expected in late January.
Under coach Rhett Lashlee, SMU is 15-2 in ACC competition and remains unbeaten in conference games at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. That mark is the best among ACC programs over that period.
