Jaydon Blue, running back for the Dallas Cowboys, did not participate in Tuesday's joint practice with the New Orleans Saints due to a shoulder injury, as reported by Patrik Walker of the Cowboys' official site.
In the Cowboys' preseason opener last weekend, Blue had 10 touches and gained 34 yards. He is anticipated to receive significant playing time this preseason as he competes for the RB2 position behind Javonte Williams.
Should Blue be unable to play this Saturday against the Arizona Cardinals because of his shoulder issue, Malik Davis may have the opportunity to step in and vie for the backup role. Further details regarding Blue's condition are not yet clear.
