North Texas will begin the tournament on November 27 against North Dakota State, marking the first encounter between the two teams. The following day, they will take on Boise State, continuing a rivalry that has seen ten previous matchups. On November 29, the Mean Green will face Drake, a team they have met 36 times historically.
