State licensing filings indicate that a new Wingstop restaurant is planned for the Meadowbrook neighborhood in east Fort Worth. The establishment is set to occupy a space within a strip mall that is currently anchored by a Planet Fitness and a Dollar Tree.
While the fast-casual chain already operates multiple locations in the city, this addition will expand its presence in the eastern part of the metro area.
According to the documents, construction work is scheduled to start in December, with a targeted completion date of March 2027. The project is described as being in early stages, and no official timeline has been released by the company. The construction scope includes the installation of new interior partitions, walls, flooring, ceiling finishes, lighting, and electrical systems.
The new restaurant will be located at 2526 Oakland Blvd. Wingstop is a national chain recognized for serving chicken wings, fries, and ranch dressing. The brand maintains more than 2,700 locations across the United States, with Texas accounting for 18 percent of those sites, which is the highest concentration in any state.
Local dining options in the immediate vicinity include Ha Ha Buffalo Wing and Lickin’ Fried Chicken Fort Worth, both of which are situated within one mile of the new site. Additionally, the nearby Stop 6 neighborhood recently saw the opening of the Fort Worth Mobile Food Court off Berry Street.
