Final scores for the second week of the high school football season were released on September 5, 2026. The results cover games played on Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, involving teams from Fort Worth and surrounding districts.

On Thursday, several Fort Worth schools recorded decisive victories. Fort Worth Wyatt defeated Fort Worth Dunbar 54-0, while Fort Worth Carter-Riverside won 63-6 against Venus. Fort Worth Arlington Heights also secured a 63-0 win over Cleburne. In other non-district matchups, Arlington Lamar edged out Crowley 35-31, and Richardson beat Garland Naaman Forest 24-23.

Friday’s slate included a large number of games across the region. Fort Worth Boswell defeated Fort Worth Paschal 41-13, and Fort Worth Chisholm Trail won 35-20 against Mesquite. Fort Worth Brewer took a 49-20 victory over Saginaw. In a close contest, Fort Worth North Side defeated Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis 10-2. Fort Worth Trimble Tech won 24-6 against Dallas Adamson.

Several other Fort Worth schools posted wins on Friday. Fort Worth Country Day defeated Fort Worth Atlas 47-0, and Fort Worth Trinity Valley beat La Jolla Country Day 49-28. Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal won 44-7 against The Woodlands John Cooper. Fort Worth Covenant Classical defeated Tyler Bishop Gorman 22-6, and Fort Worth Temple Christian won 57-40 against Dallas Academy.

Some Fort Worth teams experienced losses during the weekend. Fort Worth Southwest lost 24-14 to Irving MacArthur, and Fort Worth Polytechnic fell 70-0 to Irving Nimitz. Fort Worth Eagle Mountain lost 48-0 to Graham, and Fort Worth Eastern Hills lost 56-16 to Wichita Falls Legacy. Fort Worth Western Hills lost 20-14 to Pecos, and Fort Worth Nolan Catholic lost 52-2 to Grapevine Faith Christian.

The source noted that results were updated as they came in, with one game listed as pending: Lewisville Founders Classical versus Flower Mound Coram Deo, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Coppell West MS.
