Fort Worth pet adoption fees are covered through Sunday at Hulen and Alliance

Fort Worth residents considering a pet have through Sunday, Oct. 25, to visit two city adoption locations where sponsors are covering adoption fees.

Fort Worth Animal Care & Control says additional dogs and cats are available at PetSmart Hulen, 4800 SW Loop 820, and PetSmart Alliance, 2900 Heritage Trace Parkway, during PetSmart Charities’ National Adoption Week, Oct. 19–25.

Both locations have the same visiting hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, according to the city’s Oct. 16 announcement. Times are Central Daylight Time.

The city describes animals of different ages and energy levels, rather than a guaranteed selection of particular pets. Visitors can meet available animals and ask staff about the adoption process at either location.

The offer covers the adoption fee, not the ongoing cost of owning a pet.
