A man is in critical condition following a shooting incident in south Fort Worth on Thursday night. Law enforcement officials confirmed the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

Officers arrived at the 1700 block of San Rafael Street around 9:55 p.m. to respond to reports of the shooting. Upon arrival, they located the injured individual at the scene. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Investigators from the Gun Violence Unit have taken over the case to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. As of the latest update, no arrests have been made and no suspects are in custody.
