Las Vegas has secured its semifinal place, leaving the Dallas Wings and Golden State Valkyries to decide which team joins the Aces. Their first-round Game 3 is Friday, October 2, at Chase Center in San Francisco, with an 8 p.m. Central tipoff on ESPN2.
The Aces eliminated Indiana with a 94–83 victory on October 1, winning that series 2–1. The next round begins Sunday, October 4. Golden State would host the semifinal opener if it advances; Dallas would play at Las Vegas.
The Wings reached Friday’s decider by recovering from a 104–80 loss in Game 1. They won Game 2 in Arlington, 108–100 in overtime, behind Arike Ogunbowale’s WNBA playoff-record 45 points. Alysha Clark added 21 and Aziaha James 13.
Dallas has lost all three visits to Chase Center this season. A win there Friday would bring its first semifinal appearance since 2023, while Golden State is seeking the first playoff series victory in franchise history.
For either club, Friday is an elimination game. The confirmed opponent and Sunday start provide the next round’s context, but neither team has advanced yet.
