A three-alarm fire prompted an evacuation Wednesday night at an H-E-B grocery store in far north Fort Worth, according to CBS Texas.
Fort Worth fire officials said crews arrived around 8 p.m. at the store on Heritage Trace Parkway east of I-35 and found flames showing. Additional alarms were called because of the building's size and to assist with the evacuation. Firefighters from Haslet and Saginaw also responded.
H-E-B told CBS Texas the incident involved an isolated electrical fire in a meat case. The company said the fire had been contained, no one was hurt, and the store was closed while the company assessed when it could reopen.
