Nico Collins was one of six Texans who did not participate in Wednesday's practice, with five of the absences related to injury rehabilitation. Collins is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered during practice last week and did not play in the loss to the Bengals in Week 2.
The other players held out because of injuries were offensive tackle Trent Brown, who has knee and wrist issues; defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, listed with a knee injury; linebacker Jake Hummel, with a groin injury; and offensive guard Ed Ingram, also dealing with a groin injury. Tight end Dalton Schultz was absent for rest.
Three players took part on a limited basis: defensive end Will Anderson Jr. was rested, while defensive end Logan Hall and safety M.J. Stewart were listed with knee injuries. Safety Reed Blankenship and linebacker Wade Woodaz were full participants while dealing with thumb injuries.
