Encouragement Media Group announced Monday that Fuzión Radio has officially launched on 94.5 FM in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The station began its broadcast operations on Tuesday morning, establishing itself as the first full-power Spanish-language Christian radio outlet in one of the largest Hispanic communities in the United States.
The station transmits on a 100,000-watt signal, which company officials state will reach approximately 2.5 million Hispanic listeners across North Texas. This expansion follows an announcement made earlier in May regarding the station's entry into the market.
Troy Kriechbaum, president and CEO of Encouragement Media Group, expressed excitement about the launch, noting that Dallas-Fort Worth is where he grew up. He stated that the station aims to impact listeners through Christ-centered music, biblical teachings, and culturally relevant programming. Company leaders described Fuzión as a ministry focused on strengthening families and connecting communities rather than solely operating as a commercial radio entity.
Brendalis Águila, vice president of Spanish Ministries for Encouragement Media Group, described the station as a daily companion for listeners. She said the network hopes to provide hope through music and biblical encouragement while walking alongside families in the region. The organization emphasized its goal of reminding listeners of faithfulness and love.
With the addition of 94.5 KFZN in Dallas-Fort Worth, Fuzión now operates on 18 radio signals across the Southwest. The Dallas-Fort Worth location serves as the flagship for the network. The station also broadcasts in Las Vegas, Southern California, Albuquerque, and East Texas.
