The 2026 State Fair of Texas is scheduled to begin on September 25 at Fair Park, showcasing a wide array of musical performances over 24 days. This year's theme is "Stars, Stripes and Howdies."

The Chevrolet Main Stage will feature an eclectic mix of genres, including country, rock, R&B, Norteño, and pop. Clint Black will kick off the concert series, with additional performances from artists such as Bowling for Soup, Lee Brice, Kansas, and Queensrÿche, among others.

In addition to the main stage, the fair will host several other stages for live music. The Bud Light Stage near Cotton Bowl Stadium will highlight local and regional talent, while the White Claw Spotlight Stage at the Grove will showcase artists from the Dallas Music Office’s roster.

A new ZiegenBock Stage will also be added at the renovated Old Mill Inn, offering another venue for live performances along with food and drinks.

Jazz musician Ken Ebo has been appointed as the 2026 Resident Artist, performing with his ensemble throughout the fair. Ebo, a retired U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant and Senior Lecturer of Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas, will enhance the fair’s musical offerings.

Season passes for the fair are now available, with further details to be announced as the event date approaches. The fair will run from September 25 through October 18, 2026.

Princeton is about 56 miles northeast of Fort Worth.
