Republican Charlie Geren and Democrat Michelle Winder are listed for Texas House District 99 on the state's [Aug. 28 certification of the Nov. 3, 2026 general-election ballot](https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/2026-ballot-cert.pdf#page=1203).

The district covers part of Fort Worth and nearby communities, according to the [Texas Legislative Council's district profile](https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/fyiwebdocs/PDF/house/dist99/r6.pdf). A Fort Worth address alone does not establish which House race appears on a voter's ballot.

[Tarrant County's election calendar](https://www.tarrantcountytx.gov/en/elections/current-election-information.html) listed Monday, Oct. 5 as the last day to register (mailed applications had to be postmarked by then), so registration for this election is now closed. Early voting runs Oct. 19-30. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and applications for a ballot by mail must be received by Oct. 23.

Residents can check their registration, voting districts, personalized sample ballot and polling options through the county's [voter lookup](https://gisit.tarrantcounty.com/TCVL/). The address-specific ballot is the clearest way to confirm whether District 99 applies to them.
