A juvenile sustained non-life-threatening injuries following an accidental shooting in Fort Worth on Tuesday night, according to local law enforcement.
Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of North Crowley Cleburne Road just before 11 p.m. Upon arrival, first responders located the young victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. Emergency medical crews transported the individual to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have characterized the incident as an accidental discharge. The specific circumstances leading to the shooting are currently under investigation by the Fort Worth Police Department. Officials have not yet released additional details regarding the identity of the juvenile or the exact sequence of events that resulted in the injury.
