Encouragement Media Group has officially launched Fuzión Radio on the 94.5 FM signal in Fort Worth. The launch follows the acquisition of the station from Urban One for $6 million, a transaction that was part of a larger exchange of Dallas-area radio properties announced earlier this year. This move establishes KZMJ as the flagship station for the Fuzión network, which operates 18 stations throughout the Southwest, including markets in Las Vegas, Southern California, Albuquerque, and East Texas.
The new station identifies itself as the first full-power Spanish Christian radio outlet in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Encouragement Media Group President and CEO Troy Kriechbaum stated that the launch allows the network to bring Christ-centered music, biblical teachings, and culturally relevant content to the area where he was raised.
Brenda Águila, the group’s vice president of Spanish Ministries, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Hispanic community in the region. She described Fuzión as a daily companion intended to provide hope through music and biblical encouragement. Águila added that the network looks forward to supporting families across the Dallas-Fort Worth area as a reminder of faithfulness.
The station now broadcasts Spanish-language Christian programming on 94.5 FM. Details regarding specific programming schedules or local staff hires were not provided in the initial announcement.
Encouragement Media Group acquired the 94.5 signal from Urban One for $6 million as part of a broader Dallas station swap reported earlier this year. KZMJ becomes the flagship signal of the Fuzión network, which spans 18 stations across the Southwest, including Las Vegas, Southern California, Albuquerque, and East Texas.
