A man discovered dead on July 6 near rail lines in East Fort Worth has not been identified, and Fort Worth police are asking for information from people who may recognize him.

Officers located the body in the 2000 block of East Lancaster Avenue. Police described the man as an African American male. Authorities have not been able to confirm his identity because of the state of the body.

Investigators have shared artist renderings that focus on tattoos on the man's chest and arms. Police said the tattoos include large markings across the chest, the name "Stella" in script on the inside of a forearm and a large capital "K" on an upper arm.

Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to contact the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-392-4429 and refer to case number 26-0055305. Further details were not provided.
