Fort Worth has moved its Data Center & Infrastructure Commission report to a special City Council work session on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, at 4 p.m. A public hearing on the proposed data-center development moratorium is scheduled during the council's 6 p.m. meeting that day.

The city's Sept. 29 announcement says all council meetings previously scheduled for Nov. 3 were canceled because of scheduling conflicts. The commission had been due to deliver its report at the Nov. 3 work session.

The panel is examining electricity demand, water resources, development locations, neighborhood effects and economic considerations. The Nov. 10 hearing is the first of two public hearings identified in the city's announcement as steps in considering the moratorium.

The city's data-center information page lists the revised meeting times and provides background documents. Residents planning to follow the discussions can check that page for schedule updates.
