A fatal incident involving a welding project occurred on the east side of Fort Worth on Thursday, resulting in one death. Fort Worth police confirmed that a man lost his life after an explosion took place at a work site.
Officers arrived at approximately 11 a.m. Thursday at a private large yard area located in the 7100 block of Jack Newell Boulevard. Upon arrival, investigators determined that the deceased individual was engaged in welding work when the blast happened.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that no other injuries were reported from the incident. The specific cause of the explosion remains under investigation by police.
