Woman injured in suspected road-rage shooting near downtown Fort Worth

Police said a woman is expected to survive after a suspected road-rage shooting near Interstate 30 and Summit Avenue.

A woman was injured near downtown Fort Worth Wednesday night in what police described as a suspected road-rage shooting.

Fort Worth officers went to a local hospital at about 11:10 p.m. after police received a report that a shooting victim had arrived for medical care. Police said the shooting happened near Interstate 30 and Summit Avenue.

The woman is expected to survive, according to police. Police had not reported any arrests, and additional information was not provided.
