A man was taken to a hospital after Fort Worth police said he was stabbed during a dispute with a woman at a west Fort Worth apartment complex on Aug. 4.

Officers responded at about 4:15 a.m. to the 8100 block of Calmont Avenue. Police said they found the man with a leg injury, while the woman involved had left before officers arrived.

According to police, the argument began after the man asked the woman to leave the apartment. Police said she then picked up a knife and stabbed him in the upper part of his right leg.

The man was transported to a local hospital, and police said he is expected to survive. The woman remained at large Tuesday morning.
