Two men have died and four others were wounded in southeastern Fort Worth after an argument escalated into gunfire, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning on Martin Street near its intersection with Miller Avenue. Officials stated that a large group had gathered at the location when a dispute between a man and a woman began.
Reports indicate that another man stepped in to intervene in the initial conflict. The situation quickly deteriorated as both men drew firearms and exchanged shots. Police confirmed that four men were hit by bullets during the exchange, including the two individuals who fired weapons.
The man who attempted to break up the argument was killed, along with a bystander who was present at the scene. The man involved in the original dispute and another bystander sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital. Information regarding the current condition of these survivors has not been released.
