AT&T Stadium in Arlington served as a primary venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosting a total of nine matches under the temporary name Dallas Stadium. The facility accommodated five games during the group stage and four additional contests in the knockout rounds.
The group stage schedule featured matches from Groups F, J, and L. On June 14, the Netherlands and Japan played to a 2-2 tie in Group F. Five days later, England defeated Croatia 4-2 in a Group L contest. Argentina secured a 2-0 victory over Austria in Group J on June 22. The group stage concluded at the venue with a 1-1 draw between Japan and Sweden in Group F on June 25, followed by Argentina’s 3-1 win against Jordan in Group J on June 27.
The stadium also hosted four knockout stage matches. Norway advanced with a 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the Round of 32 on June 30. Australia faced Egypt in the Round of 32 on July 3 at 1 p.m. Central Time. The venue was scheduled to host a Round of 16 match on July 6 and a semifinal on July 14.
Monica Paul, president of the North Texas FWC Organizing Committee, expressed enthusiasm regarding the selection of teams for the Arlington venue. She stated that hosting nine matches featuring players from Argentina, Austria, Croatia, England, Japan, Jordan, the Netherlands, and Sweden would provide an unforgettable experience for fans attending the games and those participating in soccer events throughout the region.
