Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.6330 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 29, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.6620 yesterday. That is down from $3.6830 a week ago and higher than $3.1660 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6550, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 47 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9040, drivers are paying about 73 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $5.1110 per gallon, AAA reported.
