Regular unleaded averages $3.6940 in the Fort Worth-Arlington area, down from yesterday, up from last week and above the Texas average.

Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.6940 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 27, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.7140 yesterday. That is up from $3.6090 a week ago but higher than $3.1830 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6890, while the national average is $4.1100. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 51 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9250, drivers are paying about 77 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.9460 per gallon, AAA reported.
