Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.7450 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 23, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.6830 yesterday. That is up from $3.6430 a week ago but higher than $3.2460 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.7080, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 50 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8880, drivers are paying about 86 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.9510 per gallon, AAA reported.
