Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.6830 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 22, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.5850 yesterday. That is up from $3.5330 a week ago but higher than $3.2770 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6800, while the national average is $4.0600. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 41 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7990, drivers are paying about 88 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.9240 per gallon, AAA reported.
