Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.5850 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 21, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.6090 yesterday. That is up from $3.3290 a week ago but higher than $3.2940 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6150, while the national average is $4.0190. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 29 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8190, drivers are paying about 77 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.7800 per gallon, AAA reported.
