Fort Worth Gas Prices Climb to $3.2810 as Monthly Costs Ease — July 8, 2026

Regular unleaded averages $3.2810 in the Fort Worth-Arlington area, up from yesterday, up from last week and below the Texas average.

Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.2810 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 8, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.1930 yesterday. That is up from $3.2590 a week ago but lower than $3.5060 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.3530, while the national average is $3.7960. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.

The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 22 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8720, drivers are paying about 41 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.2340 per gallon, AAA reported.
