Regular unleaded averages $3.2310 in the Fort Worth-Arlington area, down from yesterday, up from last week and below the Texas average.

Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.2310 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 4, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.2510 yesterday. That is up from $3.1830 a week ago but lower than $3.6310 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.3330, while the national average is $3.8100. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.

The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 40 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7200, drivers are paying about 51 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.2320 per gallon, AAA reported.
