Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.2510 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 3, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.2840 yesterday. That is down from $3.2560 a week ago and lower than $3.6710 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.3450, while the national average is $3.8230. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.

The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8360. Regular prices are about 42 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7330, drivers are paying about 52 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.2500 per gallon, AAA reported.
