Fort Worth Gas Prices Rise to $3.2840 as Monthly Trend Stays Lower — July 2, 2026

Regular unleaded averages $3.2840 in the Fort Worth-Arlington area, up from yesterday, up from last week and below the Texas average.

Fort Worth, Texas — Gas prices in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averaged $3.2840 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 2, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.2590 yesterday. That is up from $3.2020 a week ago but lower than $3.7120 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.3440, while the national average is $3.8380. Drivers in the Fort Worth-Arlington area are paying below the state average and below the national average.

The Fort Worth-Arlington average remains below its recorded high of $4.8360, set on June 16, 2022. Regular prices are about 43 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7500, drivers are paying about 53 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Fort Worth-Arlington area averages $4.3000 per gallon, AAA reported.
