American Airlines has introduced a new lounge concept called Provisions by Admirals Club at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The space is designed to help passengers move through the terminal quickly while accessing food and beverages. The airline describes the layout as open and calm, using lighting and textures to reflect New York City’s character. This location follows an initial launch at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in August 2025.

A central feature of the lounge is a dedicated barista station, which the airline states is a first for its network. The station serves Lavazza coffee drinks prepared by staff who customize orders to individual preferences. Alongside this, a self-serve area provides canned and bottled drinks for travelers who need to take items on the go.

Food service includes both hot and cold grab-and-go items. Breakfast options, available until 11 a.m. local time daily, consist of pastries, snack mixes, yogurt, fruit, and more substantial meals. After 11 a.m. until closing, the menu shifts to salty snacks, sweet treats, and filling meals. Vegetarian choices are available throughout the day.

The lounge also includes an on-site representative to assist customers with travel needs. Access to the Admirals Club network is available through memberships, the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard, or the Citi / AAdvantage Globe Mastercard. Cardholders of the Citi Strata Elite card receive four annual passes, each valid for 24 hours. Single-day passes can be purchased for $79 or 7,900 AAdvantage miles.

American Airlines operates more than 6,000 daily flights to over 350 destinations. The carrier is celebrating its centennial year in 2026, marking 100 years since its founding as an air mail carrier in 1926. The airline is a founding member of the oneworld alliance.

Details regarding specific operating hours for the JFK location beyond the food service times were not provided in the source material.

American Airlines Group is one of Fort Worth's largest employers, with about 8,900 local employees, according to local government records.
