The Cowboys kicker made all three of his field-goal tries - from 25, 44 and 60 yards - and converted four extra points for 13 points in a 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday, ESPN's box shows. The 60-yarder early in the fourth quarter pushed the lead to 30-13 before CeeDee Lamb's late touchdown closed the scoring, per ESPN's play-by-play.
Aubrey's first make, a 25-yarder in the opening quarter, followed Dak Prescott's first touchdown pass to Lamb and made it 10-0. The 44-yarder in the third answered Washington's early second-half field goal from Drew Stevens and restored a two-score margin. Long ball in the fourth
Sixty yards is not a chip shot even indoors. Aubrey's fourth-quarter try came after Dallas had already built the lead through Prescott's four touchdown passes - two to Lamb and two to Jake Ferguson - and after Washington had lost Jayden Daniels to a dislocated left elbow late in the first half, the Associated Press reported.
The long kick removed the need for another red-zone drive when the Cowboys were content to bleed clock and scoreboard.
Dallas finished with 37 points. Thirteen of them sat on Aubrey's right foot. Special teams did not decide the game alone, but the perfect afternoon meant Dallas never left points on the field after drives stalled between the 20 and midfield.
Stevens made two field goals and both of his extra points for Washington; the difference was Dallas' volume and Aubrey's range on the 60-yard attempt that most NFL kickers treat as a low-percentage swing.
Perfect day, balanced win
Prescott's franchise touchdown-pass record and Lamb's 153 yards dominated the headlines, per the AP. Aubrey's contribution was quieter and cleaner: no misses, one kick from 60, and four PATs that never wobbled on the official sheet. Bryan Anger's lone punt traveled 48 yards; the Cowboys simply did not need the punting game once Aubrey and the offense kept flipping the scoreboard.
