TCU women finish fall with Jim West team title and Angosta co-championship

TCU’s women’s golf team finished its fall schedule with a team championship and an individual co-champion at the Jim West Challenge on Monday, Oct. 19.

The Horned Frogs totaled 20-under-par 844 at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, finishing eight strokes ahead of Missouri. It was TCU’s second team victory at the tournament in three seasons.

Kirstin Angosta birdied her final two holes to reach 10-under 206 and share the individual title with Texas State’s Grace Quintanilla. Angosta, who won outright in 2024 with the same total, became the event’s first two-time individual champion.

The Fort Worth program now pauses tournament competition until the spring. TCU is scheduled to return Jan. 29–30, 2027, at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club in Mexico.
