Mandy Adcock took over nursing leadership at Medical City Fort Worth on Oct. 1, moving to the hospital from Medical City Plano.

As chief nursing officer, she oversees the nursing operation, staff education and development, care quality and patients’ experience, according to the hospital’s appointment announcement.

Adcock previously served as assistant chief nursing officer in Plano, where her responsibilities included critical and progressive care. The Fort Worth hospital’s current leadership biography says she has worked within HCA Healthcare since 2005 and earlier held nursing leadership roles at Medical City Denton.

The appointment follows Brandy Stegall’s move from the Fort Worth hospital to a division-wide nursing executive role, effective Aug. 31. Medical City Healthcare announced that change in August.

Medical City Fort Worth is at 900 Eighth Ave. The hospital now lists Adcock on its leadership roster, alongside chief executive John Hoover.
