Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said he remains hopeful that wide receiver Nico Collins will be ready for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Cowboys.
Collins is recovering from a Grade 1 hamstring strain that has sidelined him for Houston's last two games. He also has not practiced during the past two weeks, according to the report published by CBSSports.com.
To have a realistic chance to play Sunday, Collins would likely need to return to practice as at least a limited participant between Wednesday and Friday. His status beyond that possibility is not yet clear.
The Texans have opened the season 0-3, and their offense has struggled during Collins' absence over the last two games. Collins is Houston's top receiver.
