Nico Collins remains uncertain for the Houston Texans' Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts after missing another practice because of a hamstring injury. The latest injury report listed the wide receiver as having no participation for the second consecutive practice.
Houston still has one practice remaining before the game, so Collins has not been ruled out. If he cannot play, the matchup is scheduled for Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Collins injured his hamstring while preparing for Houston's Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals and missed that contest at NRG Stadium. In the Texans' season opener, a 36-31 home loss to the Buffalo Bills, he caught seven passes for 75 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets.
A continued absence could give Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson and Kayshon Boutte more opportunities in Houston's passing game. Tight end Dalton Schultz has led the team in downfield production through two games, with 16 receptions for 175 yards.
