Jadeveon Clowney will not play in the Texans' game against the Bengals after being ruled out with a knee injury.

The defensive end sustained the issue during preparation for Week 2 and was unable to practice during the week. It was his third injury in three weeks.

Clowney previously dealt with ankle and hip problems before Houston's 36-31 loss to the Bills last Sunday. The source did not provide a timetable for his return.

With Clowney unavailable, Dominique Robinson and Sabastain Harash are expected to divide the rotational snaps at edge rusher behind Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter.
